Jewish Federation of Cincinnati: Marketing and Communications Intern

The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati (JFC), a non-profit organization, is looking for a Marketing & Communications intern to join our team. We’re looking for a self-starter with interests in website content management, and brand asset management. This individual will be responsible for working with various departments on Federation website updates and will assist with the creation and organization of a library of centralized and shared digital assets. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively thinking on their feet and managing multiple projects at the same time. Experience with website content management systems, design skills, and strong written communication skills are a plus. This individual will work closely with the creative team and will have many opportunities to learn and grow. They will be assigned to other marketing tasks as needed.

Essential Functions

• Federation website updates.
• Create a library of digital assets including photos, graphics, and videos that can be easily accessed by marketing and non-marketing users with digital asset management software. 
• Photo editing and graphic creation.
• Content writing and editing.
• Coordinate with professionals within all of Federation’s various departments/divisions to ensure the work is accurate and that goals and deadlines are met.
• Learn and implement new technologies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Recommended Skills:

• Education or training in Web Development or Web Design, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, with preferred knowledge of Photoshop
• Works well in a collaborative environment
• Organized with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to solicit and incorporate feedback from others
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and within a team setting
